Q: What are the required browser settings needed to complete this survey?
The browser should be set to (1) always accept cookies, (2) enable Java Script and (3) look for the newest version of a stored page. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, select "every visit to the page," for newer versions of stored pages. In Netscape Navigator, set the amount of cache memory to zero.

In Microsoft Internet Explorer, select "Tools," and then "Internet Options" from the browser menu. Options are accessible from the General and Advanced tabs. In Netscape Navigator, select "Edit," and then "Preferences" from the browser menu.
Q: What is my login ID?
To log in you need both a user id and a password. You can find this information on the Registration Certificate that was sent to the chief administrative officer of your institution. The user id consists of an uppercase letter followed by an 8-digit number. The password consists of 8 characters. A new user id and password are issued each year. If you cannot locate your user id and password, contact the EADA Help Desk toll-free at (888) 233-5421 or e-mail the help desk at eadahelp@westat.com.
Q: What should I do if my password does not work?
If your password does not work, check to see if you entered it exactly as it appears on your Registration Certificate or exactly as it was read or e-mailed to you by the help desk. Both the user id and the password are case sensitive.
If you cannot resolve the problem, contact the EADA Help Desk toll-free at (888) 233-5421 or e-mail the help desk at eadahelp@westat.com.
Q: Do I need to register before I can enter data for my institution?
The Registration screen must be completed and updated before you can enter your data.
Q: Should I change incorrect information on the registration screen?
Yes, all incorrect information should be corrected. Be sure to click "Update" after you make the change(s). Note that the name of the institution is "read only" and cannot be changed on this screen. If the name of your institution has changed, please make the change on your institution's IPEDS survey. The new name will appear on the next EADA survey.
Q: Can I submit data in hard copy or in a data file rather than using the web survey?
No, all EADA data must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Education via this web survey.
